The paper presents the use of geosynthetic materials in French industrial waste storages and the new concepts proposed according to the new regulation through two examples. The industrial waste is stored in modern landfills including a lining system and a technical man-inspectable gallery running under the site. The choice of geosynthetic products will be different in this kind of storage according to the mechanical aspects.
