Forty attendees and collaborators from academia and industry came together to exchange knowledge and experience on soil reinforcement at the three-day workshop held July 7–9, 2026, in Reggio Calabria, Italy.
The event was organized by the IGS Technical Committee on Soil Reinforcement (TC-R) and the ISSMGE Technical Committee on Reinforced Fill Structures (TC-218), and co-organized by Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria.
The proceedings contain 24 contributions covering seismic performance, case histories, design methods and numerical analysis, testing and geosynthetic material properties, marginal fill and sustainability, and basal reinforcement.
