The International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) created a Diversity Task Force to elevate its global conversation on the need for and beneficial impact of diversity in civil engineering–from entry-level jobs to senior leadership, and with respect to conference speaking opportunities, committee participation, and other positions of leadership and professional growth.
